Welcome to Omega Baptist Church
on behalf of the Christian Orientation Ministry
We are excited that you have made a commitment to Christ and
have received the gift of eternal salvation! We are equally excited
about your decision to share your gifts with our church family. The
Omega Christian Orientation Ministry is designed to provide you with the
Essentials for Christian Living. Our goal is to help you:
- Discover Who You Are in Christ
- Gain Understanding of God's Word (The Bible)
- And Apply God's Word to Your Life.
You are strongly encouraged to complete the nine-week new member's
course where you will learn to:
- surrender your life to Christ (1 Peter 5:6)
- accept the truth and no longer be ruled by sin (Psalm 139:1)
- take responsibility and repent (Galatians 6:5)
- forgive and let go (Matthew 6:14)
- be transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12;1-2)
- partner with other Christians for whom they can be accountable
- and grow in spiritual disciplines for strengthening your relationship with Christ (2 Peter 1:5).
This is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make!
